Anne Enright

Anne Enright (born 11 October 1962) is an Irish novelist, short-story writer and essayist. She won the 2007 Man Booker Prize for The Gathering and was the inaugural Laureate for Irish Fiction (2015–2018). Her work often explores family, memory, motherhood and identity; she has published novels, short-story collections and non-fiction, and writes regularly for literary journals and newspapers.
