Eben Alexander
Eben Alexander III is an American neurosurgeon and author, best known for his book 'Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife.' He experienced a near-death experience in 2008 after contracting a rare bacterial meningo-encephalitis, which led to a week-long coma. During this time, he reported an odyssey into another realm, which profoundly changed his worldview from a materialist to an idealist. Alexander spent over 25 years as an academic neurosurgeon, including 15 years at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has dedicated himself to sharing information about near-death experiences and their implications for consciousness and the nature of reality, promoting research on the intersection of science and spirituality.
