Amit Goswami is an Indian-American theoretical physicist and a retired professor from the University of Oregon's Department of Physics, where he served from 1968 to 1997. He is a pioneer of the new paradigm of science called 'science within consciousness.' Goswami is the author of the highly successful textbook 'Quantum Mechanics' and numerous popular books exploring the relationship between quantum physics and consciousness. He is best known for his appearance in the 2004 film 'What the Bleep Do We Know!?' and has been featured in documentaries such as 'Dalai Lama Renaissance' and 'The Quantum Activist.' Goswami advocates for a monistic idealist interpretation where consciousness is fundamental to reality and has developed theories in areas like quantum creativity, quantum healing, and quantum economics.
