
David King Dunaway
David King Dunaway is an American historian, author, and broadcaster specializing in oral histories and biographies of American cultural figures, particularly in folk music traditions. He is a professor of English at the University of New Mexico and has held Fulbright senior lectureships at universities in Kenya, Denmark, and Colombia. Dunaway's work often focuses on American folk music, Route 66, and the life of Pete Seeger. He has authored or edited numerous books and produced award-winning radio documentary series.
