Erica Chidi Cohen

Erica Chidi Cohen is a doula, health educator, author, and the co-founder and CEO of LOOM, an education and wellness center in Los Angeles. She is passionate about helping people understand their bodies and feel confident in their choices around reproductive health and wellbeing. Cohen began her work in San Francisco, volunteering within the prison system working with pregnant inmates. She has since built a successful doula and reproductive health coaching practice in Los Angeles and has been featured in publications like Glamour, Vogue, and Marie Claire. Her book, "Nurture: A Modern Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, Early Motherhood—and Trusting Yourself and Your Body," is an all-inclusive guide for expectant mothers and their partners. Cohen identifies as a queer Black feminist and is committed to creating inclusive and empowering spaces for reproductive health education.
