
Bettina L. Love
Dr. Bettina L. Love is an award-winning author, academic, and professor. She holds the William F. Russell Professorship at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her work focuses on abolitionist teaching, anti-racism, Hip Hop education, Black girlhood, queer youth, and educational reparations. She is the author of "Punished for Dreaming: How School Reform Harms Black Children and How We Heal" and "We Want To Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom." Dr. Love is also a sought-after public speaker and has been recognized for her contributions to education and social justice.
