Dr. Robin DiAngelo

Robin DiAngelo is an American author, consultant, and facilitator who works in the fields of whiteness studies and critical discourse analysis. She is known for coining the term "white fragility" and exploring it in her book of the same name. DiAngelo formerly served as a tenured professor of multicultural education at Westfield State University and is currently an affiliate associate professor of education at the University of Washington. She has over 20 years of experience providing racial justice training for various organizations. Her work has been featured in numerous media outlets, including The New York Times, The Guardian, CNN, and NPR. She was born in San Jose, California.
