Ross W. Greene

Ross W. Greene is an American clinical child psychologist and the originator of the evidence-based Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model of intervention. He is the founding director of the non-profit Lives in the Balance. Greene has authored several influential books on child behavior, including 'The Explosive Child,' 'Lost at School,' 'Lost & Found,' and 'Raising Human Beings.' His work focuses on understanding and addressing the root causes of challenging behavior in children, advocating against punitive disciplinary practices. He has held academic appointments at Harvard Medical School, Virginia Tech, and the University of Technology Sydney. Greene also developed and executive produced the documentary film 'The Kids We Lose.'
