Dr. Sue Johnson (1947–2024) was a British-born clinical psychologist and pioneer of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She authored influential books for both clinicians and the public, founded the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), and trained thousands of therapists worldwide. Her research and clinical work focused on adult attachment, bonding, and the science of love and close relationships.
