Hanna C. Howard

Hanna C. Howard is an American author known for her young adult fantasy novels. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a passion for reading, especially stories involving dogs. After studying English and Creative Writing in college, she worked various jobs before achieving her dream of becoming a novelist. Her debut YA fantasy novel, "Ignite the Sun," was published in 2020 and received the Oklahoma Creative Women prize for juvenile fiction in 2021. Her second novel, "Our Divine Mischief," was published in 2023. Howard's writing often incorporates themes of light and dark, drawing from personal experiences with anxiety and her Christian faith. She is married and has three children. She also writes under the pseudonym Hanna Hedgeward for adult fantasy novels.
