Laura Steven is an English novelist, journalist, and screenwriter known for her young adult fiction. She has also written under the pseudonyms Laura Salters, L. K. Steven, and Laura Kirkpatrick. Steven won the inaugural Comedy Women in Print Prize for her novel "The Exact Opposite of Okay" (2018). Her works often explore themes of feminism, friendship, social justice, and identity, frequently incorporating humor and sass. She has also ventured into adult fantasy with the "Silvercloak" trilogy. Her novel "Our Infinite Fates" was a #1 New York Times bestseller.
