Suzanne Joinson

Suzanne Joinson is a British writer and academic, known for her novels "A Lady Cyclist's Guide to Kashgar" and "The Photographer's Wife," as well as her memoir "The Museum of Lost and Fragile Things." Her work often explores themes of class, displacement, identity, and inherited trauma. She grew up in a working-class environment and in a counter-culture community, which has significantly influenced her writing. Joinson has a background in the British Council's Literature Department and holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is currently a Reader in Creative Writing at the University of Chichester. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and have achieved bestseller status in the US.
