Olivie Blake, the pen name of Alexene Farol Follmuth, is an American author of speculative fiction for adults, best known for her New York Times bestselling dark academia fantasy series, The Atlas Six. She was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and is of half-Filipino descent. Blake initially pursued a law degree, but abandoned it to focus on writing. She self-published six novels before being picked up by a traditional publisher. Her works often explore themes of the human experience, life, and love. Blake also writes young adult fiction under her legal name, Alexene Farol Follmuth. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
