Shelby Mahurin

Shelby Mahurin is an American young adult fiction author, best known for writing the "Serpent & Dove" trilogy. She grew up on a small farm in rural Indiana, where sticks became wands and cows became dragons. Her rampant imagination didn't fade with age, so she continues to play make-believe every day—with words now instead of cows. Her debut novel, "Serpent & Dove," debuted at #2 on The New York Times bestseller list and was the Barnes & Noble YA Book Club selection for September 2019. She lives near her childhood home with her husband, children, and pets.
