Sarah Janet Maas (born March 5, 1986) is an American bestselling fantasy author best known for the Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Crescent City series. She began writing as a teenager and first gained attention publishing chapters online before signing with a traditional publisher. Her work blends romance and epic fantasy (often called "romantasy") and has achieved widespread commercial success and translation into many languages.
