Leigh Bardugo

Leigh Bardugo (born April 6, 1975) is an Israeli–American author best known for creating the Grishaverse, which includes the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the Six of Crows duology. She writes fantasy for young adult and adult audiences (including the adult novels Ninth House and Hell Bent). Her work has been adapted for screen (Shadow and Bone on Netflix), and she has received industry recognition including the Inkpot Award. Bardugo studied English at Yale University and lives in Los Angeles.
