Lucy Adlington
Lucy Adlington is a British social and textile historian, collector of vintage clothing, and author. She is known for her books that examine women's lives and fashion during the Second World War and the Holocaust. Her non-fiction book, 'The Dressmakers of Auschwitz: The True Story of the Women Who Sewed to Survive,' became a New York Times bestseller, translated into 22 languages. Adlington also writes young adult fiction, often exploring themes of historical fiction and adventure. She founded 'History Wardrobe,' a company specializing in historical costumes and presentations.
