
Sally Gardner
Sally Gardner is a British writer and illustrator best known for her children’s and young adult fiction. Dyslexic herself, she did not learn to read fluently until her teens and later trained in art and theatre design before becoming an author. Her notable books include I, Coriander, The Red Necklace, The Silver Blade and the Carnegie- and Costa-winning Maggot Moon. She has also published adult fiction under the pseudonym Wray Delaney and is an advocate for dyslexia awareness.
