Philippa Gregory
Philippa Gregory (born 9 January 1954) is an English historical novelist best known for popular Tudor-era novels such as The Other Boleyn Girl and The White Queen. She studied history and gained a PhD in 18th-century literature; her work focuses on historical fiction that foregrounds the lives and perspectives of women in history. Several of her novels have been adapted for television and film.
