Kate Grenville
Kate Grenville is a celebrated Australian novelist and non-fiction writer, born in 1950 in Sydney. Her work often explores Australian colonial history, identity, and the intersection of personal and official history. She is best known for her novel 'The Secret River', which won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. She has also written books on the craft of writing and a memoir about her mother.
