Tamara Hartson

Tamara Hartson is a biologist, naturalist, photographer and children's non-fiction author. She grew up in Alberta, Canada, and holds a degree in environmental conservation sciences. Hartson has travelled and worked in locations including Bermuda, the Galápagos Islands, the Amazon Basin, Argentina, Tibet and India, and has lived and worked for many years in Patagonia. She has written dozens of nature guides and children's science books (covering topics such as planets, space, robots, ocean life and prehistoric mammals) and her photography has appeared in books and online magazines.
