Andrea Mara is an Irish crime novelist who transitioned to writing after a 17-year career in financial services. She began her writing journey with a blog while her third child was young, and after being made redundant, she moved into freelance writing before publishing her first novel in 2017. Her novels, often in the domestic noir or suburban thriller genre, have achieved international bestseller status, with "All Her Fault" being adapted into a TV drama for Peacock. Mara lives in Dublin, Ireland, with her husband and three children.
