Tom Angleberger

Tom Angleberger is an American children's writer, best known for the Origami Yoda series. He grew up in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley as a self-described "nerdy kid." His books are often humorous and relatable, touching on the emotional ups and downs of middle school, drawing from his own experiences. Angleberger studied art at the College of William and Mary and worked as a staff artist for the college newspaper, where he met his wife, children's author and illustrator Cece Bell. He previously worked as a reporter and columnist for the Roanoke Times in Roanoke, Virginia. Angleberger has Asperger syndrome, which he refers to as his superpower. He lives in Christiansburg, Virginia, with his wife and their two children.
