Chris Grabenstein
Chris Grabenstein is a multiple award-winning, #1 New York Times bestselling author known for his fast-paced, funny, and adventure-packed stories for young readers. He is the author of the Mr. Lemoncello series, Welcome to Wonderland series, The Smartest Kid in the Universe series, and the Dog Squad series. He has also co-authored numerous books with James Patterson, including the I Funny, Jacky Ha-Ha, and Treasure Hunters series. Grabenstein's career began in advertising, where he wrote commercials for various brands, and he also worked in improvisational comedy. He transitioned to writing full-time after his first adult mystery novel was published in 2005. He later found success writing for middle-grade audiences, with his book 'The Crossroads' winning both an Agatha and an Anthony Award for best mystery for kids.
