Peter Kirsanow is an American author of thriller novels, a lawyer, and a civil-rights commissioner. He is the current chair of the United States Commission on Civil Rights. Kirsanow has served on the National Labor Relations Board and has testified before Congress on various matters, including Supreme Court justice confirmations. He is a regular contributor to National Review and has had op-eds published in The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Times. His fiction often features protagonists who are operators, soldiers, or agents making difficult decisions with incomplete information, exploring themes of trust, deception, and action under pressure.
