Heather Young

Heather Young is an American author known for her mystery and suspense novels. She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia and practiced law in San Francisco before transitioning to a writing career. Young holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars and has also studied at the Tin House Writers' Workshop and the Squaw Valley Writers Workshop. Her novels often feature atmospheric settings and complex characters, drawing inspiration from her childhood summers in Minnesota and her legal background. She lives in Mill Valley, California, with her husband and two children.
