Michelle Falkoff

Michelle Falkoff is a law professor and young adult author. She was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She studied literature at the University of Pennsylvania, then attended Columbia Law School and worked as an intellectual property litigator in Silicon Valley. She later quit practicing law to study fiction writing at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Falkoff currently serves as the Associate Dean of Legal Writing and Instruction at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and also teaches fiction at the University of Chicago. Her novels often tackle difficult social issues and are known for their suspenseful plots and well-developed characters.
