Michelle Hodkin
Michelle Hodkin is an American author known for her New York Times bestselling Mara Dyer Trilogy and The Shaw Confessions series. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as an attorney specializing in anti-terrorism litigation. Her experiences in law, particularly dealing with trauma and grief, influenced the emotional depth of her fiction. Hodkin grew up in South Florida, studied English at New York University, and earned her law degree in Michigan. Her debut novel, 'The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer,' was published in 2011.
