
Olga Tokarczuk
Olga Nawoja Tokarczuk is a Polish writer, activist, and public intellectual. She is known for her complex novels that explore themes of identity, memory, travel, and the interconnectedness of life. Tokarczuk studied psychology at the University of Warsaw and worked as a psychotherapist before dedicating herself to writing. Her works have been translated into numerous languages and have received widespread critical acclaim, including the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2018 and the Man Booker International Prize in 2018 for her novel 'Flights'.
