Valeria Luiselli

Valeria Luiselli is a Mexican-American author known for her fiction and nonfiction works that explore themes of migration, identity, and belonging. Born in Mexico City, she spent much of her childhood in South Korea, South Africa, and India before returning to Mexico and later moving to the United States. She is a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship and has won numerous awards, including the Dublin Literary Award and the Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction.
