Trisha Ashley is a British author of romantic fiction, known for her witty and heartwarming novels. She has written over 27 novels, many of which have been Sunday Times Bestsellers. Her work often features themes of love, friendship, food, and flowers, set in charming villages. Ashley has also published short stories and poetry. She was nominated for several awards, including the Melissa Nathan Award for Romantic Comedy and the RoNA Award for Popular Fiction, which she won in 2024 for "The Wedding Dress Repair Shop". Before becoming a full-time writer, she held various part-time jobs and studied architectural glass at Swansea School of Art. Ashley was born in St Helens, Lancashire, and now lives in North Wales. She has a son and is divorced. She has also been recognized for her support of new writers through the Trisha Ashley Award.
