Kristy Woodson Harvey
Kristy Woodson Harvey is a New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of fourteen novels, including "Summer State of Mind," "Beach House Rules," and the "Peachtree Bluff" series. Her work, often described as "Southern family drama," has been optioned or is in development for film and television. She is also the co-founder and co-host of the webshow and podcast "Friends & Fiction" and co-founder of the interior design blog "Design Chic" with her mother. Harvey is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's school of journalism and holds a master's degree in English with a concentration in multicultural and transnational literature from East Carolina University. She is the winner of the Lucy Bramlette Patterson Award for Excellence in Creative Writing and a finalist for the Southern Book Prize. Harvey lives on the North Carolina coast with her husband, son, and dog.
