Maria Gianferrari
Maria Gianferrari is a picture book author who writes about nature, animals, and the human-animal bond. She has an M.A. in Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in English. Her books often celebrate urban ecosystems and the natural world, and honor the connections between humans and creatures, both domestic and wild. She grew up in Keene, New Hampshire, and currently lives in Massachusetts with her family.
