Anita Hughes

Anita Hughes was born in Sydney, Australia, and had a charmed childhood. Her writing career began at age eight when she won a national writing contest in The Australian newspaper, earning her the title "One of Australia's Next Best Writers." She holds a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing from Bard College and attended UC Berkeley's Master's in Creative Writing program. Hughes primarily writes contemporary romance and women's fiction, often featuring holiday themes and glamorous settings. Several of her books have been adapted into movies, including "Rome in Love" (Hallmark) and "Christmas in Vermont" (Lifetime). She currently lives in Dana Point, California.
