Anita Diamant (born 1951) is an American author of fiction and nonfiction, best known for the bestselling novel The Red Tent and for a series of guidebooks about contemporary Jewish life. Her work includes novels (The Red Tent, Good Harbor, The Last Days of Dogtown, Day After Night, The Boston Girl), essays, and practical guides on Jewish rituals and life. She is also a journalist and a founding president of the Mayyim Hayyim community mikveh in Newton, Massachusetts.
