Drusilla Campbell

Drusilla Campbell was a best-selling novelist known for her controversial characters. She was born in Melbourne, Australia, and raised in Los Gatos, California. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose University, she traveled extensively before settling in San Diego. Campbell produced and narrated radio shows in the early 1970s and earned a Master's degree in Communication from American University. Her writing career included seventeen published novels, with "Blood Orange" and "The Good Sister" becoming nationwide best-sellers. She also taught writing and was actively involved in the San Diego writing community. She was married to law professor and writer Art Campbell and had two sons.
