Mignon Good Eberhart (July 6, 1899 – October 8, 1996) was an American writer best known for her prolific career in romantic suspense and mystery fiction. Active from the 1920s through the 1980s, she published nearly sixty novels and numerous short stories, created the popular nurse-detective Sarah Keate, won the Scotland Yard Prize for While the Patient Slept, and received the Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Award.
