Francesco Artibani

Francesco Artibani is an Italian comics writer and screenwriter, born in Rome on October 27, 1968. He began his career in 1991, writing for Disney Italia, with his stories appearing in publications like Topolino, Paperino Mese, PKNA, MMMM, and W.I.T.C.H. He also collaborated with ACME, writing and drawing for Lupo Alberto, Kamillo Kromo, and Cattivik. After ceasing to draw in the late 1990s, he created series for Disney Italia such as PK, X-Mickey, Kylion, and Monster Allergy, and also scripted for W.I.T.C.H. and the Winx Club comic adaptation. His other writing credits include miniseries for Marvel Italia (X-Men, Doctor Strange) and the graphic novel "Il boia rosso." In 2002, he co-founded the studio Red Whale with his wife Katja Centomo and has contributed to animated series like Lupo Alberto and Winx Club as a writer, supervisor, and story editor.
