Her works include poetry collections like 'Marblehead Moon,' 'Java Love,' 'Atlantis,' and 'Telling Time by Apples,' as well as novels such as 'Holy Days,' 'When Two Women Die,' 'Dreamwater,' and 'Low Flying.' She also wrote children's stories, including 'The Adventures of Porky and Trotty.' Goodwin was actively involved in her local arts community, promoting artists and co-producing the Women in the Arts Festival to raise funds for abused women and children. She passed away on August 2, 2022.
