Patricia Gibney is an Irish crime fiction author from Mullingar, County Westmeath. After working for around 30 years with Westmeath County Council, she began writing following the death of her husband. She self-published a children's book before turning to crime fiction; her debut Lottie Parker novel, The Missing Ones (2017), became a major e-book bestseller and launched a long-running Detective Lottie Parker series that has sold well over a million copies worldwide and been translated into multiple languages.
