Ira Genberg

Ira Genberg (July 27, 1947 – December 8, 2019) was an American trial attorney and novelist best known for his legal thriller Reckless Homicide (1998). A prominent construction and litigation lawyer based in Atlanta, Genberg balanced a legal career with writing; his debut novel sold strongly and earned an Edgar Award nomination. He was active in civic and charitable organizations and taught and consulted on construction law during his career.
