R. L. Stine

R. L. Stine (Robert Lawrence Stine) is an American author best known for writing horror fiction for children and teens, most notably the Goosebumps and Fear Street series. He began his career writing humour for children and working as an editor for Scholastic before publishing his first scary novel in 1986. Stine's books have sold hundreds of millions of copies worldwide and have spawned television adaptations and feature films. He has received multiple industry awards including the Horror Writers Association Lifetime Achievement Award and recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records.
