Kate Davies is an English author and former children's-book editor who writes middle-grade, picture books and contemporary adult fiction. She has written for Usborne on a range of early-reader non-fiction titles (including Butterflies) and is the author of the middle-grade Crims series and adult novels such as In at the Deep End (2019) and Nuclear Family (2024). She also works as a screenwriter and lives in London.
