Alex Heard

Alex Heard is an American journalist and author. He has served as an editor at Wired and Outside magazines and has written for The New York Times Magazine, The New Republic, Slate, Vanity Fair and other publications. Heard is the author of Apocalypse Pretty Soon: Travels in End-Time America and The Eyes of Willie McGee. He has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.
