Chris Hedges
Christopher Lynn Hedges (born September 18, 1956) is an American journalist, author, commentator and Presbyterian minister. A former foreign correspondent for The New York Times, he reported from the Middle East, the Balkans and other conflict zones. Hedges has written multiple bestselling books on war, politics and American society and is known for his critiques of corporate power, militarism and inequality. He publishes essays and commentary via Substack and other outlets and has received multiple journalism awards during his career.
