Dan Gutman (born October 19, 1955) is an American writer best known for humorous children's and middle-grade books, including the My Weird School series, the Baseball Card Adventures series (beginning with Honus & Me), and The Million Dollar Shot. Raised in New Jersey, Gutman graduated from Rutgers University and previously worked as a magazine editor and columnist before writing full-time for young readers.
