Mark Brake

Mark Brake (born 31 October 1958) is a Welsh/British science communicator, author and former professor of science communication. He developed early university courses in Science & Science Fiction and Astrobiology, has worked with NASA's Astrobiology Institute science communication group, and has written numerous popular science books for adults and children, including titles in the Lonely Planet Kids series and Alien Life Imagined (Cambridge University Press). He has also worked as a consultant for broadcasters and museums and tours public shows on the science behind popular culture.
