Mickey Zucker Reichert (born Miriam Susan Zucker) is an American fantasy author and practicing pediatrician. She has written more than twenty novels — including the Renshai Chronicles, Legend of Nightfall, and the Beasts of Barakhai series — as well as an illustrated novella and numerous short stories. Reichert lives in Iowa, divides her time between medicine, teaching and farming, and has also written sanctioned prequels to Isaac Asimov's I, Robot.
