Tracy Raye Hickman (born November 26, 1955) is an American fantasy author and game designer, best known for co-creating the Dragonlance novels (with Margaret Weis) and for numerous collaborations with his wife, Laura Hickman. He worked as a designer and author for TSR, coauthored the Darksword trilogy and the Death Gate Cycle, and has contributed influential role-playing game modules such as Ravenloft. He has also worked in game and interactive storytelling and is a New York Times bestselling author.
