Ed Greenwood
Ed Greenwood is a Canadian fantasy writer and game designer, best known as the creator of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons. He began writing about the Forgotten Realms as a child and later published articles about it in Dragon magazine. In 1986, he sold the rights to the setting to TSR, the creators of D&D. Greenwood has written numerous novels, game supplements, and articles, and has also contributed to other fantasy settings. He has received numerous awards for his work in gaming and writing.
